Titanium Computing Acquires Amp Telecom, Spins Off AI-Native Platform AmpCortex

Titanium Computing has acquired Amp Telecom, a business VoIP and cloud telephone services provider, bringing enterprise voice technology in-house under the Titanium Computing umbrella. The acquisition adds hosted VoIP and UCaaS to Titanium's managed IT and cybersecurity offering, and gives its clients a phone system managed by the same engineers who manage their network.
Building on Amp Telecom's voice platform, Titanium is spinning off a new, AI-native communications product: AmpCortex (ampcortex.ai). AmpCortex is designed from the ground up with AI agents as first-class citizens of the phone system — among the first PBX platforms built for AI rather than retrofitted with it. It pairs best-in-class voice infrastructure with Claude-powered agents that can answer calls, look up ticket status, conduct intake, and route work intelligently.
Titanium runs AmpCortex on its own Tier 1 support line today, and the platform is deployed with production clients. Because Titanium owns the codebase end to end, AmpCortex integrates with the tools each customer already uses and improves for every customer as the platform grows.
